The Mermaid Day Parade – the largest art parade in the United States.. The parade was hot, strange and sexy-ugly wonderful as ever.
Chicago was as usual at this time of the year: very beautiful sun, flowers, fountains… and very cold, unpleasant wind)
Today NY was one of the city among 137 cities around the world hosted International Pillow Fight Day. Even the organizers asked to bring only a non-feather pillow, it was a lot of feathery mess together with shrieking and laughing around Union Square today. Pillow fights will ensue internationally for the sheer joy of pillow fighting — and, for the first time ever, to support no-kill animal shelters.
On Mar 28th, I had the honor of photographing Maya and Leonid wedding. The weather was absolutely perfect. I had such a good time getting to know Maya and Leonid and their friends and family members. Gusty winds were wreaking havoc all over the tri-state area couple weeks ago caused damage and scattered power outages throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Here are pictures I took during a sunken yacht rescue, Sheepshead Bay Canal, Brooklyn, NY last Saturday, March 20, 2010. Two yachts were sunk and more others damaged during this extreme weather.

Big, bright, and very loud, Time Square is one of Manhattan’s prime tourist destinations. Yesterday, while waiting for my clients, I had a late morning stroll through it. Of course I couldn’t do it without taking my camera out the bag. The guy on couple of pics there, wearing the black BDSM costume is an actor. Time Square is a magnet for moviemakers, and yesterday they were shooting a movie too. So, here are some people, skyscrapers, and traffic at Time Square on pictures from my walk.
